MATRIS continues in Salzburg as MATRIS Science Lab
After eight years at SBA Research in Vienna, MATRIS becomes a joint research group of the University of Salzburg and FH Salzburg.
From August 2025, MATRIS (Mathematics for Testing, Resilience and Information Security) continues as MATRIS Science Lab, a joint research lab of the University of Salzburg and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. It consists of two units: MATRIS – Complex, Secure and Resilient Systems at the University of Salzburg (Department of Computer Science) and MATRIS – Resilience and Security Testing at FH Salzburg (Department of Information Technologies and Digitalisation).
At SBA Research in Vienna, where MATRIS was founded in 2017, the former team continues as the DAMAST group. The history of the group’s Vienna years is on the history page.
